FAQS

CAN I BRING MY FRIENDS?

We have a strict insurance policy that allows us to have no more than 23 people on site at anyone time, so its imperative that before you decide that friends can come to the yurts that you ask for permission firstly. We also remind you that no more that 5 people either adults or children are allowed in a yurt at any one time due to fire regulations. If it rains and you have your friends or family here it is not allowed for you all to shelter in the yurt. The same principle applies if you have booked up to 3 yurts. If you have permission for friends and family to join you then the curfew is no later that 8pm. All guests need to be signed in and out.

I WANT TO PLAY MUSIC …. IS THIS OK?

Yes however all noise is kept to a minimum after 10.30pm as a respect to all other campers. If you are found to be breaking this rule then you be asked to leave immediately and with no refund due. We pride ourselves in the yurts being a retreat and want everyone to have a relaxing time. Please be aware that you are in an open field and noise carries easily and no one wants to be kept awake into the small hours just because they have no consideration or respect for other paying customers.

WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK IN ?

Check in is any time after 3pm. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow you into the yurt before this time. The reason for this is because we are a very small family business with a staff of 2. Check out is up to 11am and we have a very small window of time to make up the yurts to a high standard for your arrival.

ARE THE YURTS WARM ?

Yes….each yurt has a wood burning stove which heats the yurt, the only time you may feel cold is when you wake up in the morning as by that time the fire will have gone out (imagine getting out of bed in your house on a winters morning when you don’t have the heating on and thats a close representation) the stove takes about 30 minutes to heat the yurt through again
