CAN I BRING MY FRIENDS?

We have a strict insurance policy that allows us to have only booked guests visit. We apologize but this is something out of our control due to strict fire regs imposed on us. Theres a great coffee house just at the end of the road that you can meet up with your friends there.

I WANT TO PLAY MUSIC …. IS THIS OK?

Yes however all noise is kept to a minimum after 10.30pm as a respect to all other campers. If you are found to be breaking this rule then you be asked to leave immediately and with no refund due. We pride ourselves in the yurts being a retreat and want everyone to have a relaxing time.

WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK IN ?

Check in is any time after 3pm. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow you into the yurt before this time. The reason for this is because we are a very small family business with a staff of 2. Check out is up to 11am and we have a very small window of time to make up the yurts to a high standard for your arrival.

If you are staying with friends the fire regs state no more than 5 people in a yurt at any one time however we do have a large communal area that seats 15 plus people that you can socialize in.

Unfortunately if you are a group of 4 adults you would need to take 2 yurts, please remember that we only have 1 bed per yurt.

ARE THE YURTS WARM ?

Yes….each yurt has a wood burning stove which heats the yurt, the only time you may feel cold is when you wake up in the morning as by that time the fire will have gone out (imagine getting out of bed in your house on a winters morning when you don’t have the heating on and thats a close representation) the stove takes about 30 minutes to heat the yurt through again

IS THERE ANYWHERE TO EAT NEAR BY?

Yes there is a pub/restaurant called the black bull about a 35 minute walk away from the yurts.  The Black bull Welton Tel 01673 860220.

Theres a couple of brilliant eateries just a short drive away, The Plough at Nettleham that’s just fantastic, its a traditional pub but owned by a Greek family and the food and atmosphere is excellent, i highly recommend this place. The Mach Indian restaurant is another family run business and the food is delicious. Another favourite is Slow rise pizzas that are just to die for. The owners are in their early 20s but nail pizzas like total pros, all i can say is just try this place out or regret it.

We also provide a list of takeaway numbers in the welcome pack all of which deliver.
